Bridge Ensemble is excited to announce our inaugural 2026 Young Composers Competition, open to 13-18 year old Michigan residents. The competition will be open to submissions on June 1st, 2026. Learn more!
2026 Young Composers Competition
Why Submit:

Winning compositions will be performed by Bridge Ensemble.

Winners and their immediate family members will receive free tickets to the performance.

Every submission will receive brief feedback from our judges.
Competition Timeline:

June 1st to July 30th - Open for submissions

August 1st to to August 31 - Submissions are reviewed

September - Winners are notified

October - Bridge Ensemble begins rehearsals

November - Concert
What We're Looking For:

3-5 minutes of music for any combination of the following instruments: flute, clarinet, saxophone, violin, cello, piano/keyboard, percussion, or any combination of these. Please submit a PDF of the score and an audio file.
How to Submit:

Fill out our Google Form. Participants under the age of 18 will be asked to have a parent sign the Form to authorize their submission.
